Our history

TLC owes its origins to the Spanish Translation Bureau (STB), a company formed in 1995. STB was acquired by Gemini Management Services Limited in 2007. Gemini itself was formed in 1996 with operations in all languages covering all sectors.

In 2011, STB was rebranded as The Translation & Legalisation Company in order to reflect the expansion of our services and accommodate growth. Customers can now enjoy better selection and increased value under the TLC banner.

TLC UK is a trading division of Gemini Management Services Limited, which operates service providers Gemini Translation Services (GTS) and the Spanish Translation Bureau (STB).

TLC UK is a member of the European Association of Translation Companies and GWE Chamber of Commerce.
