Our Quotation and the National Guidelines

Please note that our quotation is based upon the information supplied to us, or the national guidelines for British citizens marrying abroad in Cuba.

However, sometimes the documents required for marrying at a particular hotel or region can differ in accordance with the national guidelines.

Therefore, we strongly recommend that you confirm the legal documents required for your wedding with either the travel agent, or the hotel/venue where you are getting married.

If you would like to undertake all or part of the legalisation process yourself, please be aware that we can also offer you "Notarised Translation Only" or "Notarised Translation Only + FCO" services. Please do contact us to receive a revised quotation for the service that you require.

Methods of Payment

If you would like us to carry out the work, please call 0203-633-4923 with your debit/credit card* details.
(*Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% surcharge).

Alternatively, payment can be made by cheque, payable to "TLC UK", and this would need to be enclosed when sending your documents.

Important Information

Please note that documents will be valid for 6 months from the date of legalisation at the Cuban Consulate.

Marriages between British and Cuban Nationals

If you are a British citizen intending to marry a Cuban national, the documents required, in accordance with the Cuban Consulate in the UK, state that:

You will require the translation and legalisation of your birth certificate and:

  • If single, a Certificate of No Impediment
  • If divorced, a Decree Absolute
  • If widowed, a marriage certificate and death certificate of the deceased spouse.
