Getting married in Cuba:
legal document requirements
As recommended by Thomson and First Choice
|
Cuba’s wedding requirements (like most destinations) will vary according to your personal situation. When planning your wedding in Cuba your life history (single, divorced, etc) and your nationalities determine which legal papers you will need to have translated and legalised. This process needs to be done precisely and accurately to avoid any disappointments on your wedding day. The legal requirements for getting married in Cuba are less demanding than other countries, but certain documents may still need to be translated. |
The planning and completion of your Cuban wedding documents require visits to the Cuban Consulate at the Cuban Embassy in London, and posting of your documents to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in Milton Keynes. This can be time consuming and costly (depending on where you live and have to travel from).

We strongly recommend that you check with your travel agent or directly with the hotel to get final confirmation on the combination of legal documents you require for your ceremony.
